Electric arc furnace can not only smelt high-quality steel with low phosphorus, low sulfur and low oxygen content, but also produce all kinds of steel and alloy steel by alloying with various elements (including easily oxidized elements such as lead, boron, vanadium, titanium and rare earth), such as stainless and acid resistant steel, bearing steel, electrical steel, tool steel, heat-resistant steel, magnetic materials and special alloys.
